Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone (ECSL) has announced today 24th August 2022 as the date for the voter registration process for the upcoming Presidential Parliamentary, Local Council and Village Head elections.
The ECSL has called on all eligible citizens who will be 18 years and older on the eve of 24th June, 2023 to come out and register from tomorrow to 4th October 2022 in order to vote in the 24th June, 2023 Presidential, Parliamentary and Local Council Elections.
The exercise which is set to be launched tomorrow at the New Brookfields Hotel in Freetown will see the establishment of Biometric Technology and fixed registration centres to capture both the biographic and biometric data of eligible voters.
Sierra Leoneans are expected to come out fully prepared to be registered. More on this in our subsequent editions.
