Bollore Donates Le177M Worth Food Items

Bollore, a transport and logistics company operating in Sierra Leone has donated food items and other sanitation materials worth One Hundred and Seventy-Seven Million Leones Sea Side communities in which the company operates.

Handing over the items to the communities within Constituencies 121 and 122, Gassimu S. Fofanah, Bollore Sierra Leone’s Head of Communications said the donations aimed to support communities hosting the company’s operations to help support Muslims observing the holy month of Ramadan and also help government in preparing the communities against COVID-19.

He said the donations include Three Hundred and Nineteen Veronica buckets, One Hundred and Seventy-Eight bags of rice, One Hundred and Eighteen bags of onions, One Hundred and Eighteen 20liters of cooking oil, Fifty-Five cartoons of Maggie, Fifty-Five cartoons of tomato paste and One Hundred and Fifty bags of sugar among other things.

Claurinda Morgan, Bollore Transport & Logistics’ Human Resource Manager said the company handles shipment of cargo from abroad to Sierra Leone, and has been in operation for several years.

She appealed that the beneficiary communities practice the safe conditions pronounced by the government and health officials.

Mrs. Morgan also told journalists that the company had been supporting the communities with several projects and assured that such supports will continue.

The donations were received by representatives of the community who showered praises on Bollore for always being there for them in time of need.
