Vision

Vision

AYV strives towards promoting the young African voices through the power of the media.

With AYV, young people have the opportunity to let their voices heard at local, national and the international stage through our media advocacy programmes on Radio, Television, Newspaper and Magazine.

African young people now have the opportunity to discuss issues affecting them and create a positive dialogue between them and stakeholders.

To make our work effective, AYV is operating three separate media institutions – television, radio and newspaper. We have also created a network of young african youth leaders, AYV Network, under the AYV Youth Desk, plus a movie platform – AYV Films.

The media institutions operated by the AYV Group include:

Africa Young Voices Television (AYV-TV) – www.ayvtv.com
Africa Young Voices Radio (AYV-R) – www.ayvradio.com
Africa Young Voices Newspaper and Magazine (AYV-N) – www.africayoungvoices.com

The establishment of these key media institutions is aimed at promoting the positive actions and engagements of young people accross Africa in community development programs such as:

  • Education
  • Information Sharing and Networking
  • Climate change
  • African Cultural activities
  • Reproductive Health Education
  • Gender Empowerment
  • Business Development
  • Social Mobilization
  • Music and Entertainment

Our team includes young professionals and veteran journalists that have been involved in addressing youth related issues affecting the young people of Africa.
