120 Salone students get academic benefit

In an exclusive interview with one of the brains behind the good will
adventure, Mr. Walker, said they are purposely organizing the summer school in order to teach university students and SSS 3 & 4 pupils on different professional disciplines to advance their skills to meet the job market.
According to Mr. Walker, the summer school is sponsored by two
organizations, the Foundation Richmond University and Sam and Emily
Kanu Foundation (UK). He explained further that their organization is a non-profit making organization and that they are in the country to teach Sierra Leoneans
skills that will benefit them.
He called on the different tertiary institutions lecturers to partner
with their own lecturers from the United Kingdom (UK) in making this
program a success.
He said they will start with seventy (70) in Freetown and fifty (50)
in the provinces, whiles assuring that Professors Without Borders will
be organize this program every year. He said the classes for the
secondary school pupils will start at 9:30am to 11:30am and for
university students 4:30pm to 5:30pm every day. He said the university students will be offering the courses including Diplomacy and International Organizations, International Business Law and Ethics, African Politics and Model United Nations, Political Economy and Global Politics. He said they have trained and qualified lecturers to teach the various disciplines. He called on the general public to tap from this
opportunity and improve on their academic man powers.
