Dr. Faramazi emphasized the importance of the Holy Quran and admonished his audience to frequently recite the Holy Quran with beautiful, smooth, and precise voice, if one wants to be in the company of the noble and obedient angels.  He reiterated that whosoever puts the Holy Quran in front of him, it will lead him to paradise as the Holy Quran will intercede for him or her in the hereafter.

Dr. Faramarzi ended his statement by describing the Holy Quran as a unique book, because of its sanctimonious character as it is the same everywhere across the world and that it is difficult to interpolate because of its universality and unique identity. He called on Muslims worldwide to know their religion as a way of knowing Allah.

In his remarks, the Director of Al-Mustafa University in Sierra Leone, Dr Mohammad Masaimi Zadeh expressed his profound thanks and appreciation to the Iran Cultural Consulate for organizing the competition which motivates people to read and listen to the Holy Quran especially in the Month of Ramadan in which the Holy Quran was revealed to mankind.

Dr. Zadar encouraged participants to continue to master the Holy Quran as the Hadith is clear that whosoever recites the Holy Quran and masters it by heart, will be with the noble righteous scribes (in Heaven). He commended the consulate for encouraging young people in the competition, as it is very important to educate them on the meaning of the Quran. Once children and young people know the true message behind the verses they recite, they will realize how the Holy Quran is filled with so much truths, miracles, and beauty.

In his remarks, before distributing prizes, the Managing Director of the Institute Mr. Alieu Badara Sesay reiterated that the Holy Quran is mysterious as many people around the world have memorized it without having the slightest understanding of the Arabic language.

Mr. Sesay commended participants for their wonderful performance in reciting the Holy Quran and encouraged them to make more efforts especially in the areas of tartil and tajweed of the Holy Quran. He congratulated Mohammed Shaykhu for emerging the winner of the competition for the Memorization of the Whole Quran (30 Juzu).

The program was climaxed with the distribution of certificates, and cash donations.
