In an effort to fulfill their Corporate Social Responsibility, as required by the regulation and Policy governing Companies operating in the country, the company has and continues to undertake meaningful development programmes while constructing the Wellington/Masiaka Highway.

In addition to a number of development activities undertaken including the rehabilitation of roads, provision of electricity, water and Cash to residents in Hamilton, Jui and other villages and towns in the Western Area Rural District, Management and Staff of    CRSG, based in Songo have at the end of last year, 2018 and early this year 2019, embarked on a series of projects aimed at alleviating the sufferings of residents of Towns and Villages in Koya Chiefdom, Port Loko District.

According to the Coordinator of the projects, Mr. Oak, the company has also provided large consignments of sand, cement, granites and other building materials to the authorities in Macdonald in a bid to complement their effort in constructing a Community Centre/Town Hall in the township.

Mr. Kamara also revealed that with the help of their State- of- the- Art machines such as Bull dozers, Trucks, Compressors among others, they have successfully undertaken the rehabilitation of a strategic  Feeder road of over One Kilometer, linking Makombay, Matherie and other towns and Villages in the area estimated at over forty Million Leones.

He said the idea to undertake the projects estimated at over Forty Million Leones was borne out the desire to give back to the communities which he said have been very much cooperative and helpful in the discharge of their duties.

“The activities we have undertaken are in fulfillment of our Corporate Social Responsibility and the desire to alleviate their sufferings”, he added. As a renowned and responsible International Construction Company, he said they thought it prudent to undertake the activities free of charge in line with their desire to solidify the existing cordial bilateral relations between Sierra Leone and China and on behalf of the company, promised to do more.

In their words of appreciation, Local Authorities in the affected areas including, Hon.Samba the Headman of Matherie Village, Osseh Coker thanked the Company for the gesture.
