He insists: “The foreign engineer strictly depends on the application of his technical equipment, and hardly knows the topography of the environment in which he works; to avoid disaster after the roadwork’s,  compared to the local engineer that studied and lives in the community – if not very; but familiar with the terrain and the type of rains that fall seasonally”.

Hon. Kemoh is result oriented (kaiba). Despite, he is one of the few Works Ministers with an engineering background – which qualifies him to speak from professional and political perspectives, as far as technicality in ‘Works’ is concerned.

It’s on record, when he was Transport/Aviation Minister, he used to take to the streets – pursue commercial drivers and corrupt traffic officers.

He would board stranded passengers himself, in a bid to discourage ‘half – way destinations and u – turns’ by unscrupulous commercial drivers and their allies.

Remarkably,  by the time Honourable Kemoh Sesay was becoming the ‘5o’ for traffic officers/commercial drivers in a bid to sanitize the endemically corrupted traffic system;  came up the eureka of the large quantity of the cocaine consignment at the Lungi International Airport,  and was innocently implicated mainly because he was then Transport Minister.

Having stepped aside to allow fair investigation on the matter, he went through rigorous investigation and trial and was found innocent and unconnected with the sham cocaine deal – what a reputable mogul?

No doubt, today, he takes to task, staff and engineers and consultants at the Works Ministry.

For reference sake, he kept assuring, while many thought he was bragging and threatening that: “To ensuring we have quality works and not wait to react after damage is done, it’s but wise to take on – the – spot visits to construction sites; inspect the quality of works; the size and thickness of the tar put to pave the roads etc”.
