The Hope of Glory Foundation Establish in 2020 by Pastor Matthew Pope Kamara and wife Grace in the USA with headquarter at 71 Robert Street on Friday 14th February 2025 dubbed as valentine day shared love with over 350 poor and needy children at Kobba Water off Macdonald village in the Western Rural District.
In his address, the country representative who doubles as Consultant, Sullaiman Suntus Kamara informs both children, Parents and Guardians that valentine has an historic reflection wherein Catholic Christians were deprived to Merry until Archbishop valentine condemn the idea and declared that Christians too are Humans and should have the right to merry each other. Valentine was attacked and imprisoned. He said since then that day was declared lovers day.
He said Valentine is not only meant for couples to show love to each other but has transformed to show love to humanity as a whole and this includes children, adults and the old age. He said while millions of children the world over show love to each other, millions more lack the opportunity to celebrate and human love to each other. He said it is because of this that the Hope of Glory Foundation as usual has decided to donate kits to our leaders of tomorrow to enable them feel lively and know that someone else care for their livelihood.
The foundation finance officer who doubles as Coordinator Madam Kadiatu Jalloh assured the children that the foundation is always prepared to ensure that they get their needs. She said the organization has plans to create recreational facilities and other social needs for the children. She called on both parents and guardians to continue to show love to their children so that they could be inspired to do more. Afterwards she said we were created to assist each other.
