Police alleged that the three notorious armed robbers allegedly murdered James Sesay, on 22 April 2017 at a village called Matingie at Waterloo in the western area rural district in the republic of Sierra Leone.

All the accused persons were facing four count charges ranging from conspiracy to commit murder and murder contrary to Section (4)of offences against persons act of 1861, were also alleged to have murder Sanusi Koroma including Fati Turay in the same Magintie village at Waterloo in the outskirt of Freetown capital.

Initially, when the matter first came up before Magistrate Albert Moody, the police prosecution headed by Assistant Superintendent of Police, ASP Samuel Kamara requested for an adjournment, due to certain amendments needed to be done on the charge sheet.

When the same matter came up again, on Wednesday 2 2017, the head of police prosecution could not lead evidence, due to the conspicuous absence of their witness or witnesses, and wasted no time to request for another adjournment, so as to enable him bring forward his witness or witnesses on the next adjourned date.

Magistrate Albert Moody adjourned the matter 8 August 2017, after which he ordered that all accused persons, should be remanded at the Male Correctional Centre, on Pademba road in the west part of Freetown.
