Marathon Day is a charity initiative designed to support organisations working to alleviate poverty, education and homelessness, among others.

Funds from this year’s event would go to UNICEF to support education in Guinea.

Last year, the Marathon raised huge funds that was donated to Action Aid for humanitarian purposes.

The staff of Bollore were so excited to give back to society as they participated fully in the event under the hot burning sun on a long stretch from the Queen Elizabeth Quay on to Up Gun Roundabout and back to the Quay.

All claded in white T-Shirts with Bollore inscriptions, the participants sang and jog along the streets on to the end point where they were addressed by management.
