The A Plus Charity foundation is none profitable foundation that geared toward supporting, women and girls, relief items to disable community, also provides finance for business woman and support the government free quality education through scholarship and tuition fees for people.
According to the founder, James Barack Kamara, who lived in USA, the reason to establish the Foundation is to give back to society and support the underserved communities through humanitarian gestures.
On 2nd March, the founder James Baraka Kamara sent 70 bags of rice of Muslims within magazine community to aid their fasting during the holy month. The bags of rice and oil was distributed at Masjid Haja Tigi Dankay Fadika Mosque in Freetown. Dozens receives essential food items to Muslims.
As Muslims prepare for the holy month of Ramadan, A Plus Charity Foundation has extended a helping hand by donating bags of rice to Muslim communities in need. The donation aims to support families who may struggle to afford food during the fasting period.
During the presentation of the items, Mohamed Bakarr Kamara, the Coordinator of A Plus Charity Foundation, emphasized the importance of giving back, especially during Ramadan.
“As a foundation, we believe in the power of sharing and supporting those in need. Ramadan is a time of reflection, sacrifice, and kindness, and we want to ensure that families have food on their tables as they observe the fast,” Kamara stated.
He further encouraged other organizations and individuals to engage in charitable acts, noting that such gestures strengthen communities and promote unity.
Beneficiaries expressed their gratitude, describing the donation as a timely intervention. “This means a lot to us, especially in these challenging times. May Allah bless the foundation for remembering us,” said one Haja Bangura.
