The motive of the project is to re-insert survivors of the dreadful disease into the society once more, to provide educational assistance to the children and orphans who lost their parents to the disease and help the youth with vocational assistance. Since the waterloo community was one of the most affected areas in the western rural region Accountability Alert and CAFOD thought it fit to render help there.
Aminata Sheriff a member of the Catholic Agency for Overseas Development said that their motive is to help survivors of the Ebola Virus Disease and orphans who lost their parents to the virus as most of them have dropped out of school.

Abubakarr Turay a member of the National Youth Commission also donated used clothing to those who were directly or indirectly affected by Ebola. Measurements of the children were taken to provide them with school uniforms. Mr. Turay said he has always been passionate about helping and this is being done in order to compliment government efforts in helping those affected as the government cannot do everything alone.

Alex Kande Thomas Executive Director of Accountability Alert Sierra Leone emphasized that the purpose of the program was to reinsert Ebola survivors into the society and that this is not the first time they are helping.

Gbessay Koroma an orphan who lost both parents to the virus and also other family members shared his own experience and what he went through being an Ebola orphan.

Salaymatu Conteh an Ebola survivor expressed happiness over the project and told us how she was treated as an Ebola survivor losing all her immediate family members.
The program welcomed and appreciated by the people of Waterloo community as they were happy over such developments from non Governmental organizations. It is hoped that this project will help re-insert Ebola survivors and orphans in to society.
