Africell Sierra Leone through Afrimoney has launched a brand new first of its kind service which allows subscribers to loan Electricity Distribution and Supply Authority (EDSA) topup through Afrimoney. This is in keeping with the company’s desire to help subscribers who may run out of EDSA topup when they do not have Afrimoney on their phones.

Managing Director, Afrimoney, stated that Afrimoney has been giving out lots of good stuffs to the people of Sierra Leone and will continue to do more.
He highlighted that the service will enable Afrimoney subscribers to tross (loan) EDSA top up and pay within a twenty-four (24) hours timeline. He noted that such service will foster digital and financial independence which will in turn have a positive impact on the lives of their subscribers.
He explained that subscribers are eligible to loan a minimum of 20,000 old leones which can be increased as you loan and pay within the stipulated time of twenty-four hours.
He noted that subscribers can borrow as many times as they want as long as they pay within stipulated time. Failing to pay, he hammered, will attract a penalty of 5% increase in loaned amount.
He encouraged all to make good use of this offer by complying with its terms and conditions.
Mustapha Sannoh, Chief Financial Officer, EDSA, lauded Afrimoney for such good initiative adding that it’s a novelty and that it has brought more value added to EDSA. He said that as an authority their objective is to increase the space in terms of convenience and customers access to 24 hours electricity.
