He added that the school over the last ten years suffered neglect and went down the drain in terms of discipline and performance in public exams.

Justice King further stated that he is looking forward to infrastructural development and discipline for the school, citing that they have banned the school from all inter-secondary school activities for the next 12 months or until discipline is improved.

According to Justice King they will henceforth be enrolling only pupils with the required grade, adding that they will no longer tolerate ‘back door admission’ to the school.

 “We will continue with the rehabilitation of the boarding home that was spearhead by the AAAA Atlanta Georgia Branch,” Justice King said; adding that the school will be single shrift after the completion of the boarding home which shall house several classrooms.

Improving the condition of service for teachers at Albert Academy, according to Justice King, is in his first 100 days plan, citing that the Alumni will rehabilitate the staff room and begin an incentive scheme for teachers who meet certain criteria.

“I have a team of Alumni who are ready to support and work with me,” Justice King said. He added that already they have started a mentorship program at the school where Old Boys explain to pupils the benefit of hard work.
