The lead APC flagbearer aspirant, Dr. Ibrahim Bangura, on Friday, paid a brief visit to the Madina Phase 2 community at Charlotte, Constituency 112, Ward 396. He was received by Chief Alimamy Conteh, the head of the community, and thousands of residents.
Dr. Bangura expressed appreciation for the warm reception accorded him and emphasised that his stop was a preliminary engagement. He assured the chief of another visit for further discussions on pertinent matters concerning the community.
This follows another engagement with the Muslim community during Jummah Prayers at the Temne Masjid at Old Field Street, Freetown.
Today’s engagements by the leading APC flagbearer aspirant were the beginning of a nationwide interaction with the party’s rank and file at all levels. A man who understands the APC ideology and traditions, Dr Ibrahim is determined to meet his comrades in their own communities as a mark of respect for their services and loyalty to the APC.
