The National Secretariat of the All People’s Congress (APC) Party has released a notice regarding the Provisional Membership Register, which was published on 19th July, 2025. The notice highlights key compliance concerns and directs all district executives to take urgent steps to address them in line with the APC Constitution (2022).
According to the Secretariat, some districts are yet to publicly display the Provisional Membership Register at suitable and accessible locations across constituencies and wards. This limits members from verifying their names and membership status.
According to the Party, “A number of members still owe subscription dues, contrary to Article 54(b) of the APC Constitution (2022); and certain members have not provided verifiable proof of membership as required by Article 10(d), which stipulates that every person, once enrolled, must be issued with a membership card bearing their name, address, and branch of enrolment.
In line with the APC Constitution, the National Secretariat has instructed that District Chairmen and Executives must ensure that the Provisional Membership Register is displayed without delay at accessible locations in all constituencies and wards within their districts.
Members with outstanding dues or missing proof of membership must urgently regularize their status, as failure to do so will result in exclusion from voting or contesting in the upcoming lower level conventions and the National Delegates Conference (NDC).
The Secretariat further announced that the Final Membership Register will be published 21 days before the commencement of lower level conventions. This final register will include only members who are financially compliant, and meet all constitutional requirements.
The notice emphasises that all members must act promptly to regularise their membership to avoid disqualification. The Secretariat also confirmed that this directive has been formally copied to the Political Parties Regulation Commission (PPRC) for record and necessary oversight.
The notice was issued under the authority of Lansana Dumbuya Esq., National Secretary General of the APC, reaffirming the party’s commitment to transparency, compliance, and constitutional order ahead of its conventions.
