Ahead of the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round return leg tie against ASC Jaraaf at Stade Lat Dior, Thies city in Sengal, East End Lions Football Club delegation landed safely in, Dakar, Senegal.  The match is to be played this Sunday, 25th August, and the Team has assured its fans that they are going for a win.

The Team’s Head Coach, Mohamed Lamin said: “I understand the plight of the fans. I know what they want. We will turn the home defeat into a win going to Senegal in the second leg. We are ready to turn things around in the return leg tie. Thanks to our traveling fans for cheering us despite a disappointing home defeat. It’s not yet over until it’s over!”

The delegation headed by Sporting Director Alfred Badara Turay, left the shores of Sierra Leone, via the Freetown International Airport yesterday morning.

While in Senegal, the Team will continue its preparations ahead of Sunday’s epic encounter in the 2024-25 CAF Confederation Cup match in Thies.

Excitement is in the air as the Lions gear up for Sunday’s thrilling clash. This is your chance to be part of a historic match as the fans rally together to cheer the Team to victory.

This morning, the Team is expected to go on with its training session ahead of its highly anticipated CAF Confederation Cup encounter. The session is aimed to stem from ball possession, light drilling and tactical approach. With the guidance of head coach Mohamed Lamin, the atmosphere will be remarkable as every Tea member is feeling inspired and motivated for victory. As the team gears up to take to the stage, there’s optimism, sense of humor and camaraderie within the squad. The boys hope to make an impact and make the nation proud.
