Sierra Leone’s First Lady, Dr. Fatima Maada Bio, is all set to deliver the Keynote Address at the 50 Most Influential Sierra Leonean Women Awards, where Former Vice President of The Gambia, Fatoumata Jallow Tambajang, will be serving as Distinguished Guest of Honour.
The 50 Most Influential Sierra Leonean Women Awards will beheld on 11th July, 2025, at the Freetown International ConferenceCentre (Bintumani).
In a letter written to the Chairperson of the 50 Most Influential Women Awards Committee, Edmond Alim B. Fornah, Fatoumata Jallow Tambajang confirmed her attendance at the event and to serve in the respective capacity.
She said, “It is a great honour for me, I believe that the contribution of women to the political, economic and social development in their respective countries shows that women should be celebrated and invested in. The voices of women are very instrumental, and there should be gender parity and women’sempowerment because when you educate a girl child, you educate a village”.
She commended Edmond Alim B. Fornah for celebrating the outstanding achievements of the Sierra Leonean women he haschosen to honour.
“It is with great pleasure that I accept this invitation for me to not only be recognised and honoured but to attend and celebrate all other women who are the fibres of Sierra Leonean society and Africa at large.” Fatoumata Jallow Tambajang concluded.
