The Africa Young Voices (AYV) Media Empire earlier yesterday, 30th October, 2024 held a day-long refreshers training for its staffs across the country.
The training attracted national and regional Bureau Chiefs, Managers, Reporters and Technicians from Western, Urban, Eastern, Northern and Southern regions, who met at the Headquarters in Freetown for the 9 hour-long training on New Contracts, New Worksheets Formats, Compliance/Branding/Uniform Policies, AYV Academy Programme, Role of New Coordinator for AYV International and Regions among other very important issues.
Opening the training, CEO of AYV, Ambassador Anthony Navo Jr., welcomed the teams and congratulated them for their tireless supports to the progress and expansion of AYV.
He said the training will help in the transformational and developmental process of AYV’s future.
Africa Young Voices is an entity established in Sierra Leone for the promotion and development of youth activities in the country and the Diaspora and media advocacy and entertainment.
The aim of the organization includes carrying on the business of media work: interactive media, audio-visual production, entertainment, communication and sales promotion of goods and services in the country and to act as media, advertising, communication and public relations consultant among others.
To achieve the above, AYV will develop three separate media institutions and a youth advocacy desk as well as a recording studio and a printing press.

- Africa Young Voices Youth Advocacy Desk
- Africa Young Voices Printing Press (AYV-P)
Our team will include professionals, veteran journalists and youth activists who have been involved in addressing youth problems in all areas of concern

- Information Sharing and Networking
The establishment of these institutions will seek to develop young people from all over the country in community development programs involved.
