He lamented that for far too long, Sierra Leonean-Lebanese mulattos have been marginalized by their Lebanese relatives who seldom regard them as equals. He maintained that mulattos are part of the Lebanese community and they must be accorded the right to belong to the community. He stressed that he is contesting in the Lebanese Committee election in order to raise awareness in the Lebanese community and for the mulattos to realize that they are from the same race and must work together in order to enhance love and unity and for them to realize their aspirations. He revealed that he is canvassing the support of both the Lebanese and the mulattos for them to vote for him and give him the opportunity to articulate the aspirations of the mulattos as well as bridge the gap between the Lebanese and the mulattos. “I am not fighting this cause because I want power but my goal is to let our Lebanese relatives realize that we too are part of them and they must embrace us and give us our rights,” he concluded.

The Lebanese Executive Committee elections will be held on Sunday, 11th November, 2018 at the Young Sportsmen Club (YSC) at Wilkinson Road in the west end of Freetown.
