He said: “For us, we use communication for development. We have the platform and so we want to use it to empower people. That is why we are part of the Big Sister show.”

The Big Sister show is a reality TV show that started on September 15th this year. It is a month long show that aims at empowering young girls and women through motivational talks, assignments and other responsibilities to help shape their orientation about the society.

The show started with twelve women in the house, but with a weekly eviction process only three women will be competing for the star prize on Sunday 14th October.

Alex Nallo Jnr, is a representative from Zedzee Multimedia, the group that brought to initiative to AYV earlier this year. He expressed his surprise about how much support the show has attracted.

“We are surprised by the level of support we have had from Sierra Leone. We have had support from AYV, Africell and other partners,” Nallo said.

The unveiling of this car comes in the backdrop of several ventures AYV has embarked on to pursue development with its platform.

Managing Director of AYV, Dr. Ezekiel Duramany- Lakkoh said this is not the first project the empire has embarked on.

“Last week we signed an MOU with the Teacher Prize group and they will be awarding the best teachers in Sierra Leone and send them to Dubai to compete for the ultimate price which is one million dollar,” Dr. Lakkoh said.

The unveiling is the climax of the finale of the one month long reality TV show. Three weeks into the show the Ella Koblo Gulama drama is expected to end on the 15 of October. The winner is expected to take home the Suzuki car with Le.10 million.
