Chief Minister expresses mutual respect for First Lady

Sierra Leone’s Chief Minister, Dr. David Moinina Sengeh has in a recent post on his Facebook page expressed mutual respect for the country’s First Lady Dr. Fatima Maada Bio.

His post is coming at a time when many people are thinking there is a serious misunderstanding and disagreement between the first lady and the chief minister.

On his Facebook post on Wednesday 30th October, 2024, Dr. David Moinina Sengeh wrote: “The First Lady and I have the greatest mutual respect and love for each other because we’re both committed to SLPP, GoSL & H.E Bio.”

A recent meeting, held at the First Lady’s office in Goderich, signified a strengthening of ties between key figures in the government and underscored their commitment to working together for the nation’s betterment.

The discussion explored opportunities for collaboration on various initiatives, with particular focus on aligning their efforts to elevate Sierra Leone’s socio-political landscape.
