He said they have decided to construct the road because over the years they have been doing maintenance and the government of Sierra Leone too, but after the rain fall the road will still be damage thereby causing enormous damage to vehicles.

“Because it is the road leading to our Embassy and our residential quarters, we want the road to be well paved and decent and we want our vehicles to last long. It is for these reasons that we have decided to redo the road. We do hope that the entire community will bear with us during the construction as all of them will enjoy driving in a better road when the construction is completed.”

Ambassador Hu Zhangliang said the road will cost over $100,000 and they will fund the construction because they are taking the venture.

“We want the road leading to our embassy well paved and we want to do the road to help the community to get a good road that they will enjoy always. The construction will start at the damage parts then it will move to the other areas until it is completed.”

He said CRSG will be responsible for the construction and they will do a good job as they have been doing all over the country.
