East End Lions FC has yesterday 5th October, 2022 confirmed the signing of Former A.S Monaco’s Ghanian Attacking Midfielder David Nii Lante Mills.
The former Ghanian Youth international, David, 27, joins the 14-times Sierra Premier League winners on a one-year contract, with an option to extend for a further year.
He is set to become the Club’s eighth signing of the window, following the arrivals of Mohamed Billoh Kabba, Sulaiman S. Kargbo, Omega Toronko, Mohamed Mansaray, Tamba Bessibie, Ibrahim Souri Mansaray and young goalkeeper Herie Kamara.
Speaking to the Club, David said: “I feel very happy joining East End Lions FC. I already know the Club’s rich history with Ghanian Players over the years, and for me it’s key to my decision in coming here.
“After several conversations with the Club’s Chairman and Head Coach, I have the belief that I am joining an exciting club with a very good project. I’m very excited and I can’t wait to meet my new teammates and get started” “I look forward to seeing the fans in the new season and I will do my best to make them happy.”
Following his exploits with the Ghanian U-17 side and the prestigious Liberty Professionals’ Academy, he signed for AS Monaco played severally in the team’s B side together with the likes of French World Cup Winner Kylian Mbappe.
Known for his electric pace, shooting with power and finesse with a lot of natural flair and dribbles, an amazing control, array of passings, and goalscoring ability, the Former Ghana Black Starlet David is coming in with a wealth of experience and versatility.
The Club’s Chairman, Ambassador Anthony Navo Junior said: “David is a pleasing addition to a squad that already has a lot of quality and I’m delighted we’ve been able to secure his signature.
“Whenever we look to add to our squad, it has to be a player that will improve us while complementing what we already have and David certainly fits that description. “He is a talented player, technically very good, and he gives us lot of options in attacking positions.”
Blessed with natural speed and agility, David can operate either on the wing, upfront or the number 10 role and began to make his name while at the Liberty Professionals Football Academy in Ghana and later French sides AS Monaco, Paris FC and Greek outfit AO Ipato FC.
