East End Lions FC have taken a commanding lead at the top of the Leone Rock Premier League standings following the completion of Match-week 29. With 63 points, the Freetown giants are now strong favourites to clinch the 2024/25 league title.
Their consistent form, with 19 wins, 4 draws, and only 6 losses, has placed them well ahead of Bhantal FC, who sit second with 56 points. FC Kallon are third with 53 points, still in contention but requiring a major shift on the final day.
East End Lions also boast the league’s best defensive record, having conceded just 17 goals, making them the most balanced and disciplined side this season.
As the season nears its conclusion, attention also turns to the bottom of the table. Kamboi Eagles FC and Mighty Blackpool FC are tied on 30 points, while Bullom Stars FC (28 points) remain in danger.
The final match-week promises a dramatic finish to a competitive season under the Leone Rock Premier League banner, with both the title and survival still to be fully decided.
