The Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone (EC-SL) begins a series of regional consultations aimed at developing its electoral roadmap for the period 2025 to 2029.
The process commences in Kenema with senior EC-SL personnel, including members of the Commission’s board, regional staff, the Executive Secretary, a support team from AES, and the Director of Operations in a preparatory closed-door meeting.
The consultation continues in Bo, Southern Sierra Leone and then proceeds to Makeni, with the final sessions scheduled for Port Loko.
The sessions are designed to collect input from political representatives, civil society groups, and institutions involved in electoral activities to help shape EC-SL’s strategic priorities for the next five years.
