The 2 APC Party stalwarts are helping police with investigations relating to an incident involving malicious damage that took place in Hamilton prior to the Constituency 110 Bye election.
Speaking to AYV, Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) John Kenneth Alpha, Head of CID said Daramy and Williams will not be granted bail and will be charged to court soonest.
In a similar development, Leader of the Coalition for Change (C4C) Party, Alhaji Samuel Samsumana yesterday paid an unannounced visit to the 2 detained politicians at the CID.
This visit according to the leader is born out of the spirit of political tolerance which he has always preached. He said there is no way peace and justice can be preached without equality.
Also speaking to this medium at the CID premises was Hon. Mohamed Bangura, Member of Parliament representing Constituency 066.
The MP expressed disappointment over the attitude of APC hierarchy for failing to sympathise and empathise with the detained party members.
He accused the party of not paying visit or releasing a statement regarding the detention of 2 senior party members, even after they have spent over a week in detention at the CID.
The APC hierarchy could not be reached on to press time for comment but this medium will always publish their comment when they are reached.
