Legal Aid Board counsel, J.T. Deen Tawarallie making his mitigation plea on behalf of the offender said that the offender, though he pleaded guilty to the charge has no criminal record. He went on to say that from the file what the complainant wants was for the offender to be disciplined so that he could learn his lesson adding that the offender has expressed remorse for his action.
He further pleaded with the magistrate to temper justice with mercy.
After the judgment, the offender was taken to the remand home in order for him to serve his sentence.
