Gateway Preparatory School tops NPSE

All the pupils who sat to the examination passed with a 100% rate. A senior management member of the school informed this medium that with such success, the management is further determined to provide quality educational services to children in Sierra Leone.

Members of the 2016 Mandela Washington Fellowship have commenced an election sensitization campaign in communities at the outskirt of the capital city.

The sensitization that is due to span across eight communities in the country is being sponsored by the United States Government through the U.S Embassy in Freetown, as part of programs under the Mandela Washington Fellowship.

It started with the Six Mile and Songo communities with a target to expand to other communities within and outside the city in the coming weeks.

The mission to sensitize Sierra Leoneans about electoral processes and the important roles of the citizens is mostly targeting under-served communities.

Project Coordinator Ansumana Bangura has focused his delivery on boundary delimitation and the importance for the citizens to understand electoral processes.

“Your knowledge and participation in the electoral process defines your future for the next five years,” he disclosed.
