He said,“the e-Account is flexible for all salary earners,” adding that a minimum balance of Le. 50,000 must be maintained in the account.
Odeyemi further revealed that e-Account holders could only perform transactions via e-channels, adding that cash can be withdrawn from any ATM within Sierra Leone and abroad with MasterCard logo.
As for the GT Creat8 he explained that it is a classy and trendy debit card that is to be printed as student ID card, also adding that subscribers can pay into their accounts through the GTB internet platform, banking platform or via cash deposit at any GTB branch nationwide.
He further revealed that subscribers of the GTCreat8 could also use the platform to make supermarket payment, purchase airtime, pay utility and DSTV bills.
The GTB Seniors account, he explained, is a free current account that allows senior citizens who are 65 years and above carryout banking transactions with ease from any GTB subsidiaries.
As for the GT Max account, Odeyemi said one of its key features is that customers would earn interest if agreed that minimum balance is maintained.
Unveiling the flagship GTSIM Pay, GTB subsidiaries MD explained that with the GTSIM Pay, your personal GTBank branch would be on your phone, noting that all you need to do is to take your sim card to any GTB branch and an encrypted layer will be added on your sim which will enable you to access you account on your phone without the use of internet. Odeyemi also added that this platform works in all mobile phones, be it smart phone or not.
In his statement, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of  Mobinet Blue 34 Ltd, Andrew Otiko opined, “GT SIM Pay is not only branchless banking, its not just mobile banking, it is an opportunity provided by GT bank to the inhabitants of Sierra Leone to make their lives better, to make them more successful.”
He emphasized that one simple benefit of SIMPAY is that some users can conduct banking transactions without phone credit, which is a way of reducing barriers to adoption. You also do not have to download apps where you pay for data and have to deal with very slow download speeds in areas with low Internet penetration as SIM Pay works real time without the Internet.
In his statement, GTB Chairman, Board of Directors, Dr. Emerson George Taylor-Lewis said that GTB is recognized as one of the most successful and well managed financial institutions in Africa for providing quality service, ethics, professionalism, integrity, innovation and internationally accepted corporate governance standards.
GTB MD, Gbenga Alade in his vote of thanks, expressed his appreciation to customers and staff  of GTB, noting that without them GTB SL won’t have gone this far.
