Speaking at the donation ceremony, the Founder and Director of H4EO Mayila Yansaneh explained to Moa Wharf residents  the journey the rice has been on from the Sanda boli lands and also how Hope Sakuma Farmer Based Organization will help them to boost Vulnerable children nutrition in Moa Wharf.

She stated that they are very pleased with their continued support to the community.

” This is not the first time  H4EO is coming to Moa wharf, since 2015, we have been providing vital food and education support  to orphans especially those children orphaned by the Ebola virus, and other vulnerable children of this community” she said.

In his brief statement, Chief Komeh on behalf of the Moa Wharf Community welcomed the initiative and thanked Mayila Yansaneh and her hardworking team of Volunteers.

The National Coordinator of H4EO, Mr Williams Tieh hailed Hope SaKuma dedicated Farmers Co-op for producing the bounty and advised care givers to use the donated rice for or it intended purpose.

Alfred Fornah, Founder of the Youth led Society 4 Climate Change Communication and also an incoming board member of H4EO said: “this is a practical example of innovative volunteerism, with limited resources H4EO is still committed to their kingship fostering program in order to address challenges of vulnerable children”.

Meanwhile, H4EO is a registered non-governmental organization that raises awareness and fund raises to support Ebola Orphans and vulnerable children in Sierra Leone.
