Handball Coaches Licensed

The Sierra Leone Handball Association has concluded their week-long International Handball Federation License ‘D’ Coaching Course. Twenty two local handball coaches were selected across the country for as a way to capacitate their coaching skills in the discipline.

Wolfgang Lowak is an international Handball coach form Germany. Whilst addressing the participants, he cautioned them to take the course seriously to push the game of Handball and in turn help identify Handball players to form a stronger national team.

In admonishing the coaches during the closing ceremony, Lamin Sesay is the deputy Director of Sports. He noted that to receive the certificate is one thing but it should not be swept under the carpet. He called on the coaches to form Handball teams in their various communities for the sport to grow in the country.

The certification ceremony ended with distribution of certificates and license to the twenty two participants.
