The said Kawota walked from door to door selling the dog meat but was telling her buyers that it was goat meat and as a result, dozens of people bought the low cost meat.
Reports say some of the residents cooked the dog meat and served to their family members; whiles some other saved theirs for the next day. Some residents who could not cook or save theirs, steamed and roasted the meat and ate on the spot.
It was after the dog meat has digested in the stomach of many people who ate it that the news broke that it was not a goat but a mad dog’s meat that was killed by some bad community boys.
Reports say some of those who ate the dog meat have already started vomiting and the bad boys are said to have escaped.
Residents are now calling on authorities, including the Ministry of Health and Office of National Security to come to their aid by providing them with medications to flush out the mad dog’s meat from their digestive system.
