In her statement, the Director and Co- founder of H4EO, Mama Mayila Yansaneh said she organized the event in order to celebrate her birthday with less privileged children. “I am very much passionate about children issues, because they are the leaders of tomorrow, so we must give them hope’’ she noted. She further encouraged them to grow up with compassion and respect; and show love and care for one another.  

Speaking at the event, the chairman Board of Directors for H4E O, Mr. Alfred Simmah thanked the Co-founder of the Foundation, Mayila Yansaneh, National Coordinator Mr. William Tieh and other staff members for their relentless effort towards orphans and other less privileged children in the country. He prayed for the continued growth of the foundation.

Mr. Samuel Bangura deliberated on the love and care Mayila Yansaneh has demonstrated for children in Sierra Leone. He recalled the role played by Mayila Yansaneh towards children at Moa Wharf during the time of the Ebola Virus in the country. “ The Co- Founder of H4EO is doing so much for our children, recently she provided scholarships for some children in our community’’ Mr. Bangura explained.

Meanwhile, some of the parents who were in attendance also heaped praises on the Co- Founder and Staff of H4EO for taking good care of their children at the Interim Care Center ( Mayila’s Cradle)

Speaking on behalf of the children, Davida Bayoh thanked H4EO; and prayed for long life and good health for the Co-Founder, Mayila Yansaneh
