Although the voter register lists 18,736 only 3,659 voters voted in the bye-election.
In ward 261 in the Bonthe district municipal council Musa Minah (SLPP) polled 395 votes ahead of his rival from the APC and PMDC. 1,374 people registered here but only 812 voters participated in the bye election.
