As part of his numerous activities on the margins of the 69th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women, CSW 69, Sierra Leone’s Minister of Information and Civic Education, Hon. Chernor Bah recently engaged in a POP-TALK at Columbia University’s Mailman School, Heilbrunn Department of Population and Family Health in New York.
The discussion focused on critical topics such as Health Futures and Mega Trends: Exploring the Biggest Health Challenges and Opportunities for Gen Z, the Impact of Global Factors on Youth: delving into how technology, climate change, and global conflicts affect youth well-being and lessons from Sierra Leone thus.
In the area of innovation, Minister Bah explained on innovative policy solutions and community-driven actions for a healthier future for the youths of Sierra Leone, exploring ways young people can shape a more sustainable future.
It is significant to note that Minister Bah is among the many Sierra Leoneans who have been very supportive of youth empowerment, growth and development.
