IWD in hospital and orphanage

The Executive Director, LANYI Foundation Philomena Yumkella described the hospital and orphanage as vital institutions that produce future leaders in the country. She stated that as a humanitarian she thought it fit to carry out the donations especially in marking this year’s International Women’s Day celebration. 

“I dedicated this day to continue the work I do, to support the less privilege and as a result of that I have previously visited the Aberdeen Women Clinic and this orphanage to support in my own little way I can” Philomena Yumkella mentioned.

She reiterated that she was also in Bo three day ago, where she donated clothes and shoes, as she affirmed that supporting the less privilege was what she loves doing.

She pointed that children are the future leaders of any nation that was why she had visited the hospital and the orphanage, adding that among the children present there are various professionals that would keep the country running in the future.

Head of Teenager group at the Aberdeen Women Center, Aminata Ngegbai applauded the organization for the support, while encouraging the teenagers to be steadfast in life. She maintained that the support was very much essential and it arrived at the right duration for which she hopes to see more in the future.

Matron, for the Love One Another Orphanage, Hawa Vandi expressed excitement over the donation stating that the orphanage had always been opened to any form of support from the public as that is needed by the orphanage, mentioning that the children should be supported for a brighter future of this nation.
