Joseph Johnson is a Reporter, Producer and Presenter with over five years of experience in Journalism. He started Journalism in 2015 as an intern at Universal Radio where he was employed as a staff in 2016. He later joined the Africa Young Voices Media Empire in January 2018 as an Election stringer. He is currently the Parliamentary correspondent of AYV with a distinct performance that places him among the best in terms of Legislative reporting in the country. Besides being a parliamentary reporter, Joseph has an interest in reporting on the Environment, Education, Health and Gender Equality. He is a 2021 fellow of Climate Tracker on Environment and Climate reporting.
Joseph Johnson is the producer for Health Digest, Education Platform and Prime Time News. He also renders assistance in producing Hot Seat and other news and current affairs programs.
Joseph holds a BA (Hons) degree in Mass Communications from Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone, BA (Hon) degree in Journalism and Broadcasting from Limkokwing University of Creative Technology. He is currently pursuing a Postgraduate degree in Sustainable Development at the University of Makeni.
