Sierra Leonean hip-hop icon Kao Denero has been honored with the Best Male Hip-Hop/Rap Artist award at the 2025 Africa Golden Awards, held in Nairobi, Kenya.
The veteran rapper, born Amara Dennis Turay, secured the accolade with a commanding 3,110 votes, surpassing notable artists like Kenya’s Khaligraph Jones and South Africa’s Nasty C .
