This year discussions, according to a statement on the event’s website, is centered on the theme: “Catalysing the Benefits of Globalization”.
Dozens of sessions are lined up, with speeches and panel discussions featuring experts and authorities in diverse works of life: banking, technology, food, energy and politics.
President Koroma was listed as speaker on the first day on a working dinner session dedicated to Peace and the former president gave a very thrilling special address in front of a panel that include the Archbishop of Canterbury’s Adviser for Reconciliation, Canon Sarah Snyder among other world dignitaries.
Reports have it that Koroma will fly to German for “routine” medical checkup, after his Portugal engagement. He is expected back home towards the end of the month.
