In a press release, Mohamed N’fah Alie Conteh explained what happened to ballot papers after voting is done, according to NEC’s laid down procedures.
He also dealt with wrong information in the media about the boxes found at a NEC facility at Waterloo, outside Freetown and other issues.
He advised politicians, political parties and the media to contact NEC in the future rather than engage in speculations. He added that NEC is constantly in touch with political parties to deal with any issue that may cause concern.
