Mr. Dabo recalled 30th May when he was informed by the Chief Minister of his pending appointment by President Koroma to serve as NASSIT DG and used the opportunity to thank President Maada Bio for appointing him to the highest office at NASSIT. He went on to also thank the out-going Director General of NASSIT for keeping the fort during his tenure.
The new DG was second-in-command to the out-going DG and said he has spoken with many people on how he could further transform the institution, adding that with the commitment of his staff he was confident of taking the institution to higher height.
Meanwhile, in his handing over statement, the out-gone Director General Joseph Sedu Mans Jr., said the handing over ceremony was unique because it was the very first time they were having any formal or informal handing over from one Director General to another.
Mans, headed the Trust Fund for more than three years. He informed his audience that he is happy to have paved the way for many more Director Generals from within the institution, having been the first internally-appointed DG.
