Parents, teachers and pupils of the Education for All Primary School at Kola Tree Community were happy for such face lifting of the school and community.

In her welcome address, the Head Mistress Mamusu Tarawalie referred to the day as historic and a blessing to the people of Kola Tree Community. She thanked Schools for Salone USA, Kai Kamara and Michael Lahoud for aiding Program for Children Sierra Leone. 

Representing his Leone Stars colleague Kai Kamara, Michael Lahoud said the school building project is a dream come true. He believed that education could positively transform the life of a person. He said without education, he should not have been playing as a professional footballer for Leone Stars.

Joseph William Lamin is the Executive Director of Program for Children Sierra Leone, he said their works with two major international partners, the Danish Children’s Fund and Schools for Salone USA have been tremendous. The Executive Director of Program for Children Sierra Leone presented some school materials to the Education for All Primary School during the opening ceremony. 

The school is housing about one hundred and seventy seven children with eight teachers in charge. According to the Head Mistress Mamusu Tarawalie, the school has been approved by the government of Sierra Leone to commence Adult Literacy in the school.

With the new development, the community people believed that it will go a long way to improve the education of both their children and themselves.
