The Kailahun Division of the Sierra Leone Police has reported a low crime rate, according to Johnson Sahr Bolimba, the division’s community relations officer.
Speaking on a community radio program, Bolimba stated that while Kailahun remains largely peaceful, some criminal activities persist, including drug-related offenses, theft, and minor civil crimes.
Authorities credit the decline in crime to proactive policing and strong collaboration between law enforcement and the community. Bolimba urged residents to remain vigilant and continue working with the police to maintain security in the region.
The report reinforces Kailahun’s reputation as a safe and stable area, with law enforcement committed to sustaining the current peace.
