The school he said was founded on April 17, 2015 and the school is consisted of 53 pupils from JSS1-2. The school only boasts of nine volunteer teachers.
‘Our aim is to make sure every child in the community have access to education, especially the children from the slum areas. We don’t want them to be dropouts that’s why we are fighting doggedly to make sure the school be a better learning environment for every child’ Principal Kargbo stated.
He further stated that since the establishment of the school, there are a lot of challenges it is faced with. Key among the challenges faced are lack building capacity, subsides to pay teachers, furniture and teaching and learning materials.
The Principal pointed out that the urgent intervention of the government and nongovernmental institutions is highly needed.
