Sierra Leoneans and friends of Sierra Leone will today join the management of Miss Sierra Leone Limited at the Sea Coach Terminal in Aberdeen at 5:00 pm for a royal welcome of Miss Sierra Leone 2025, Queen Lachaeveh Alberta Caizarine Davies, fresh from the Miss World stage.

Queen Lachaeveh carried Sierra Leone’s story with grace and purpose, now it is time to welcome her home with love and celebration.

Queen Lachaeveh Alberta Caizarine Davies said, “As the curtain closes on this incredible journey, I stand here filled with gratitude, pride, and humility. Representing Sierra Leone at the 72nd Miss World pageant has been one of the greatest honours of my life. I carried our flag with pride and grace every step of the way, and although we didn’t make it to the final crown, the experience has been nothing short of life-changing”.

Queen Lachaeveh represented Sierra Leone at the Miss World and made history by becoming the first Sierra Leonean to reach the Top 8 finalists using the Africa Young Voices (AYV) Media Empire-produced video for Miss Sierra Leone Beauty With A Purpose.  This achievement is a proud moment for Lachaeveh personally and for Sierra Leone on the international stage.

For the first time ever, Sierra Leone has emerged as a finalist at the Miss World Beauty with a Purpose project. Her Beauty With a Purpose project, called the “Dynamo Project,” focuses on helping farmers through sustainable farming methods. This work earned her a place among the top finalists.

This achievement is a proud moment for Lachaeveh personally and for Sierra Leone on the international stage.  Earlier in the competition, Lachaeveh did not advance in the Head-to-Head Challenge, a preliminary round focused on public speaking and advocacy.
