A historic moment arrived today as Air Sierra Leone’s inaugural Boeing 737-8 Max flight from London Gatwick touched down in Freetown. Passengers disembarked to applause and waving flags a vivid display of national pride and progress.
Onboard were business leaders, diaspora families, and eager tourists bound for Sierra Leone’s golden beaches and vibrant markets.
The new service will run thrice weekly, departing Gatwick on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 11:00 PM (arriving Freetown at 5:00 AM) and returning on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 9:00 AM (landing Gatwick by 3:00 PM).
