The Regional Manager of the Sierra Leone Water Company (SALWACO), South, Edmond Manu Allieu Kabu has embarked on assessment and familiarisation visitations in various areas of operations at the Southern Region.
He started the exercise at the Pujehun Station, where he engaged Station Manager, Ing. Mohamed Yayah Sesay and team by discussing pivotal revenue generation moves, which are essential components that enhance the company’s sustainability.
The station team also touched on essential matters that the SALWACO leadership should look into in making sure that the station is able to fully deliver on its mandate. The Regional Manager assured the station of channeling all related concerns to the SALWACO leadership at HQ.
Manager Kabu also engaged the Council Administrator of the Pujehun District Council and the CTO Construction Company with a view to address concerns and to see that institutions and individuals are able to get access to safe drinking water provided by SALWACO with a thrust of beneficiaries to accordingly pay for services as and where justified.
Manager Kabu is expected to extend similar visitations in other parts of the Southern Region in making sure that issues and concerns are fully understood and addressed and to see that the vision and mission of SALWACO are achieved in line with the institution’s mandate.
