The Nominee was well dressed, and accompanied by his wife and other relatives, and ready to face the panel.

He had earlier entered the Committee Room 1 where the interviews were conducted but was asked to follow the procedure and wait until his name was called. He was not allowed to have entered the room as part of parliamentary best practices, when interviews are being conducted.

The names of the Interviewees were first announced and ushered in by the clerk but Dr. Denis flouted the rules.

The Presiding Chairman of the Committee, Hon Matthew Nyuma told newsmen that Dr. Denis Sandy is the Secretary to the Transitional Team and is busy with his work.

He said the Appointment Committee has the right to postpone the interview of any Nominee.

This according to many people who were present in the House could not be unconnected with his act of embarrassment directed at President Dr. Julius Maada Bio by issuing a controversial “Ministerial Order No.1” extending past Saturday’s cleaning exercise from its earlier presidentially endorsement of 12:00noon to 4:00pm.

The other nominees were grilled based on their résumé and experience and further on what they are bringing to the table that will address the contemporary challenges of national development.

The nominees were Prof. Aiah Albert Gbakima, proposed Minister of Technical and Higher Education; Prof. David Francis, proposed Chief Minister; Dr. Alie Kabba, proposed Minister of Foreign Affairs; Amb. Foday Yumkella, proposed Minister of Political and Public Affairs; Mr. Ibrahim Nyelenkeh, proposed Minister of Sports; and Haja Abdulia Kamara, proposed Resident Minister, Northwest region.
