The project’s key focus is to bridge the gap between agriculture and business experts with small scale farmers and micro entrepreneurs.

Joseph Kobba who is the coordinator said the project started in 2003 at Mokoba Village when war returnees were facing starvation, and farmers were forced to eat the seeds they had saved for the planting season. He added that such a project will help capacitate small scale farmers so that their farms will produce enough for them to eat and surplus to sell for economic gain.

The project he went on to state is to support farmers in the Bumpe Ngao Chiefdom so that they can stay on their land and grow sufficient food for their families and communities. The coordinator Joseph Kobba said they aim at increasing accessibility to food, provide self-employment, and spur development.

Some of the beneficiaries expressed their thanks and appreciation to the organization for the support which they described as timely.
